The Green Box 1

The Green Box Project is an environmental education initiative by Peta for Cultural Services, supported by the German Embassy in Baghdad. Running from September to December 2025, the project combines creativity, hands-on learning, and community engagement to inspire young people to care for the environment.

Through the project, we will:

• Publish and distribute an Arabic interactive activity book with 30 chapters, covering themes such as biodiversity, pollution, and sustainable habits (1,000 copies).

• Host 15 environmental workshops, including 4 field visits, to bring children closer to real-life ecological practices.

• Build a micro-nursery (2×4 m) as a space where participants can learn to grow and care for plants, fostering responsibility and connection to nature.

With its blend of knowledge, play, and practice, The Green Box Project invites children to discover how small, mindful actions can shape a greener and more sustainable future.
